After a huge hassle to get this set up, I finally did and it is working well. For the moment, I only wanted it for AdGuard Home, as I am not sure what the other settings would do to my work laptop and the company VPN. For now as just an AdGuard Home box it is working well though.

I use the Brume 2 to secure my Ethernet connection and increase my privacy by utilizing a built-in WireGuard VPN client. The security gateway encrypts my traffic from many different devices and tunnels it to my VPN provider. Recommended!
Great all-in-one for ad blocking and VPN server

This greatly simplifies my setup and requires less maintenance. AdGuard works just as well as Pi-hole, and having a GUI interface for Wireguard administration is a plus.
It's been working flawlessly since I installed it a few weeks ago.

Overall this is a very feature rich and powerful little router with super advanced networking features yet is very easy to setup and use for all the normal functionality. Since I was able to test out both the GL-MT2500A and GL-MT2500 I can confirm they are functionally identical and that the price difference between the two is simply because of the plastic vs aluminum housing.

Honestly this thing is pretty amazing once you start looking at the possible added plugins. Outside of just the built in features of Adguard and VPN Server/client, you have a large list of possible plugins to use more features.
